Designed an interactive eLearning quiz to help K–12 students reflect on their learning preferences. The experience encourages self-awareness while reinforcing that learners can succeed using a variety of strategies.

Approach
I designed the experience as a self-reflection tool rather than a diagnostic assessment to help students stay engaged and discover strategies they may want to try in their own learning. I used clear, age-appropriate language and a supportive tone to ensure the experience felt accessible, practical, and empowering for a K–12 audience.
Outcome
The quiz encourages self-reflection and gives students practical strategies they can apply to stay engaged, helping them take a more active role in their learning.
The Problem
“Learning styles” are commonly used in K–12 education, despite limited evidence supporting their effectiveness. This can lead students to believe they can only learn in one way, which may limit their confidence and growth. There was a need for an approach that encourages reflection without reinforcing this misconception.
Solution
I developed an interactive, multi-question quiz in Articulate Storyline that guides students through a series of prompts about how they engage with learning. Based on their responses, the quiz generates a result identifying a learning preference and provides a set of suggested strategies students can use to stay engaged. The experience was designed to be simple to navigate and easy to complete independently.
